What is Acrylic?
Acrylic, also known as PMMA or plexiglas, comes from the English acrylic and is chemically known as polymethyl methacrylate.

The characteristics of Acrylic
1. The hardness
Hardness is one of the parameters that can best reflect the production process and technology of casting acrylic sheet, and it is an important part of quality control. Hardness can reflect the purity of raw material PMMA, sheet weather resistance and high temperature resistance. Hardness directly affects whether the plate will shrink, bend and deform, whether the surface will appear chapped during processing. Hardness is one of the hard indicators to judge the quality of acrylic board.
2. Thickness (acrylic tolerance)
The acrylic sheet thickness exists acrylic tolerance, so the control of acrylic tolerance is an important embodiment of quality management and production technology. Acrylic production has an international standard ISO7823
Tolerance requirements for pouring plate: tolerance =± (0.4 + 0.1x thickness)
Extrusion plate tolerance requirements: tolerance =& LT; 3 mm thickness: ± 10% & GT; 3 mm thickness: ± 5 %
3. Transparency/whiteness
